General Physical Preparedness (GPP) is designed to build the most broad, general, inclusive fitness possible to prepare you for any movement in your life. It says fitness isn’t what you look like; it’s what you're capable of. Governed by measurable performance, we can help members feel, look and perform better based on their specific goals.
Life is a mixed bag of events, and GPP is the single best training strategy to prepare for the unknown. Outside the gym, GPP prepares members for everything life has to throw at them. You'll have the confidence to try new activities, keep up with the kids, and live the lifestyle you want.
Everything starts with your mindset. Chances are you may have been mislead this far as to what health and fitness looks like. Living a life of fitness can be fun, effective, and sustainable. We utilize functional movements. Think squat, push, pull, jump, run, press, and throw. We cover our bases with regards to performance by practicing training that’s constantly varied. Our program is light, it’s heavy, long, short, and there are intervals. Whether life presents a sprint or a marathon, you’ll be prepared for both.
GPP is the base of all of our training at Groth Fit because it's simply the best approach. Whatever you're training for, the better you move and more well-rounded you are, the better you'll be in everything you do. With that being said, some athletes' needs are specific to their sport. Our Specific Physical Preparedness (SPP) training addresses these needs. SPP is specialized to support specific areas based on activity: Ironman athletes need different training specifics than hockey players. SPP is for competitive triathlete, high school, collegiate and professional athletes.

Private small group training is the happy hour of training. Get a group of your friends (1-5 additional people) and schedule a private session with Emily. We'll focus on your specific goals as a group. It doesn't matter the experience level of the individual members, if you're willing to show up and give it your best for that day, that's all that matters!
